Heartland Garage Builders was fantastic to work with! They were extremely responsive to our requirements and designed the perfect space for us. The detached garage they built is now a yoga/workout area in one room, and a wood workshop in the other.Andrew and Chris are excellent listeners, extremely good in recommending options, flexible in problem solving, and most importantly, great communicators and project managers. I worked with Andrew to get an estimate for a garage in Wilmette. I called seven garage companies and he and one other company were the only ones to call me back. He was the most organized, thorough and responsive builder that I have met thus far and I have done a ton of work on several different houses in Wilmette over the last 10 years. Sadly, we ended up hiring another contractor for our house project that also did garages so we couldn't hire his company, but I would recommend them in a heartbeat! You know based on the professionalism of the bid itself that they would do a fabulous job on the actual construction.
I hired this company to replace a garage that had been badly damaged in a storm. Andrew and Chris were very hands on and my new garage came out great. They were great at communicating along the way and their trades people were all very skilled and nice to work with. Definitely recommended.
